AS-PL at the 13th Edition of the Congress of Industry and Automotive Market

On 7 and 8 November 2018, the 13th Edition of the Congress of Industry and Automotive Market was held in Warsaw on the initiative of the Association of Distributors and Manufacturers of Automotive Parts (Stowarzyszenie Dystrybutorów i Producentów Części Motoryzacyjnych – SDCM). Topics related to the industry, trade and services were discussed during the event. 


The two-day congress was divided into thematic panels. One of them, entitled "New, used, remanufactured – which choice is best? Recycling and renovation of automotive parts” was attended by Leszek Moritz – Production Engineer at AS-PL Sp. z o.o. Together with other participants of the meeting, he debated on factory-remanufactured parts and their future on the Polish market. They also talked about the recycling of parts and ecological aspects in the automotive industry as well as the differences between new, used and remanufactured parts.
 


"The SDCM Congress is a great opportunity to talk about the future of the automotive industry in Poland" summarised Wojciech Kuś, Regional Sales Director at AS-PL Sp. z o. o. for Central Europe, Eastern Europe & Asia.


In addition to the debate on the aftermarket, there were panels about the current problems of the automotive industry. The subjects of talks included new directives of the European Parliament and the Council of the EU, regulations on CO2 emissions or investor support systems.

The Association of Distributors and Manufacturers of Automotive Parts is a non-profit organisation composed of representatives of the largest automotive companies. Its tasks include protection of the rights of customers in the automotive sector, providing opinions on laws, acting to expand the market in connection with the growing demand for automotive parts, and information and image campaigns aimed at raising awareness of the independent market.
